An Aiken man has been arrested and charged after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman during a dispute over a parking spot.

Aiken County Sheriff's deputies arrested Domminick A. Thorsen, 22, on Friday on a charge of pointing and presenting a gun at another person.

A woman alleged Thorsen pointed a weapon at her while she was preparing to leave the Springside Apartments off of University Parkway on Aiken's Northside

Thorsen said the woman's car had been parked in "his spot" all day despite other spots being available, Deputy J. Glover wrote in a report.

Thorsen added other spots were available but also said spots were not assigned at the apartment complex, Glover continued. Thorsen denied pointing a weapon at the woman, Glover added.

Pointing and presenting a firearm at another person is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a fine in the discretion of the court, according to South Carolina law

Bond information was not available Tuesday morning.

Information on further court appearances was also unavailable.
