Ben Burnham, a third-team All-CAA selection this year, becomes the second College of Charleston basketball player to enter the transfer portal, according to several outlets on March 26.

The 6-7 Burnham, who started all 35 games for the Cougars this season, joined Ante Brzovic, who announced his intentions to leave the downtown school, in the transfer portal on Monday.

Burnham and Brzovic were both full-time starters this season for the Cougars.

In three seasons with the Cougars, Burnham averaged 9.5 points and 4.2 rebounds a game.

Burnham had his best season in a Cougars uniform this year as the Rock Hill native was third on the team in scoring, averaging a career-high 11.9 points and 4.5 rebounds a game.

The versatile Burnham shot 37 percent from 3-point range this year.

Burnham led the Cougars with a team-high 19 points in their 109-96 NCAA Tournament first-round loss to Alabama last week.

Denny Hamlin holds off Larson late to win NASCAR Cup race at Dover Motor Speedway

Denny Hamlin held off a hard-charging Kyle Larson over the final, thrilling laps and wiggled through lapped traffic to win the NASCAR Cup race by about a quarter of a second Sunday at Dover Motor Speedway.
