USC Aiken's Erik Olin tied for second individually at this week's Tennessee River Rumble.

The USC Aiken golf team is No. 5 in the latest National Collegiate Golf Rankings, powered by clippd.

North Georgia remained at the top spot while Lincoln Memorial stayed at No. 2. Grand Valley State and Georgia Southwestern were third and fourth, respectively.

In the fall portion of the slate, the team took third at the Bearcat Fall Invitational, fifth at the Cateechee Fall Invitational, sixth at the Furman Intercollegiate and was ninth at the Mizuno Intercollegiate.

This semester, USCA was second at the Wexford Intercollegiate and sixth at the Spring Bulldog Clash prior to a runner-up position at the 27th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate. The Pacers took sixth at the Bobcat Invitational, then this week earned a fifth-place effort at the Tennessee River Rumble.

Individually, Oscar Abrahamsson is No. 28 nationally and ninth in the region. Rory McDonald O'Brien is No. 29 nationally ad 10th in the region. Erik Olin stands at No. 58 in Division II and 18th in the region.

Abrahamsson was co-medalist at the Wexford Intercollegiate, and McDonald O'Brien brought home the individual title at the Palmetto Intercollegiate. Olin is coming off a strong finish at the Tennessee River Rumble, where he finished tied for second.

The Pacers conclude the regular season Apr. 15-16 at the Wofford Invitational, and the following week they'll play in the Peach Belt Conference championship tournament at Forest Hills in Augusta.

Paul George and James Harden each scored 33 points while playing key fourth-quarter roles to help the Los Angeles Clippers hold on after blowing a 31-point lead and beat the Dallas Mavericks 116-111. Denny Hamlin held off a hard-charging Kyle Larson over the final, thrilling laps and wiggled through lapped traffic to win the NASCAR Cup race by about a quarter of a second Sunday at Dover Motor Speedway. Hamlin’s third win of the season tied William Byron for most this season in the series. Hamlin also picked up his 54th career Cup win, all with Joe Gibbs Racing.
